The Safewaze FS1117 Manual Rope Grab is a crucial component for fall protection systems using vertical lifelines. This device automatically locks onto the rope in the event of a fall, ensuring a worker’s safety while allowing for free movement up and down the line. Its non-removable design prevents unauthorized or accidental detachment from the rope, solving the risk of improper setup or component loss.
- Enhanced Safety: Manual operation provides reliable locking on the lifeline to arrest a fall quickly and securely.
- Increased Durability: The non-removable feature ensures the rope grab remains attached to the lifeline, preventing loss and maintaining system integrity.
- Precise Positioning: Manual adjustment gives the user full control over their working position on the vertical rope for optimal job efficiency.
This rope grab is best suited for professionals in construction, utilities, and maintenance who frequently work on fixed vertical lifelines, such as scaffolding access or elevated platforms.
This model is designed for use exclusively with 5/8″ vertical rope lifelines.
