The Safewaze 018-9000 18″ Rope Protector is an essential piece of equipment designed to shield ropes, lifelines, and lanyards from premature wear and hazardous cuts. By placing this durable sleeve over abrasive or sharp edges, it prevents critical damage to the worker’s fall protection system, which is a major jobsite safety concern. This simple solution extends the life of costly equipment and maintains the integrity of the fall arrest system.
- Safety: Acts as a sacrificial barrier against sharp edges, welding slag, and abrasive surfaces to prevent catastrophic failure of your lifeline or anchor rope.
- Durability: Constructed from robust material to withstand continuous friction and protect valuable synthetic ropes from the stresses of high-traffic work areas.
- Efficiency: Prevents wear and tear on expensive ropes and lifelines, reducing the frequency of replacement and lowering overall equipment costs.
This rope protector is ideal for construction crews, window washers, riggers, and maintenance personnel working with vertical or horizontal lifelines near steel beams, parapet walls, or concrete edges.
