LOCTITE® 5188 is a highly flexible, form-in-place, anaerobic-curing gasketing sealant designed for use on rigid metal flanged connections, such as gearboxes and engine casings. This red sealant is ideal for applications where minor oil contamination of the flange surfaces can occur and is perfect for use on aluminum substrates.
