The Skullerz 8965 Lightweight Bump Cap Hat with LED Lighting is a comfortable and stylish hat featuring micro-LED lights and a ventilated impact-resistant shell for breathable protection against bumps, scrapes, bruises and other minor head injuries. At less than 5oz (135g), this incredibly lightweight bump cap delivers optimal comfort without compromising safety.

Built-in dual-action LED lights under the brim emit 44 lumens for ultra-bright, hands-free visibility in the dark without flashlights or bulky headlamps. The LED task lights allow for close-up or distance lighting for visibility where you need it most. Run time is up to 11 hours with use of four CR2032 lithium-ion batteries (included).

This bump cap tackles two big challenges workers face in the field: weight and heat. The removable bump cap insert is made of a lightweight but durable high-density polyethylene (HDPE) with maximum ventilation for all-day breathability that doesn’t compromise protection. Lining the insert is a removable, washable and anti-microbial EPP foam pad for enhanced comfort, protection and airflow. This pad also helps prevents sweat from dripping down into eyes. Vents in the insert and foam pad channel heat away from the head and Cooling Channels allow additional airflow above the pad. These features combined with vented laser-cut polyester mesh on the hat itself keeps workers cool and comfortable on the job.

Available in three different brim lengths for unobtrusive wear in cramped work environments. The nylon hat comes in three colors (black, navy, hi-vis, lime) and features reflective piping keeps workers safe and seen in low light situations.

This lightweight safety bump cap meets the EN 812-2012 standard for industrial bump caps. Not bulky like a hard hat, bump caps are typically worn in spaces where worker-generated impact head protection is needed, like low ceilings, beams, low pipes and other bump hazards.
