Leather palms feature leather primarily on the palm of the glove and other materials, such as canvas, on the back. CORDOVA SAFETY PRODUCTS grades leather according to the area on the hide from which it is cut. The standard/regular and economy cuts are selected from the middle and lower portions of the hide, making them thinner than other grades, but still durable and more economical. Cowhide is comfortable and abrasion resistant. This standard grain cowhide leather palm features a striped canvas back and gunn pattern cut, the most commonly used pattern in work gloves. It also provides a rubberized safety cuff for added protection at the wrist.
