The RPB 03-601-FR HX5 System is a complete powered air-purifying respirator (PAPR) blower assembly designed to deliver clean, filtered air to the user’s headtop. This unit provides a constant, positive-pressure flow of air, which eliminates the strain of breathing through a traditional respirator filter while greatly reducing exposure to airborne contaminants. By bundling all core components—including the blower, battery, belt, and charger—this kit solves the problem of sourcing a complex respiratory system one piece at a time.
- Safety: Includes an integrated 03-891 Spark Arrestor to protect the blower motor, making it safe for use in environments where sparks or hot materials are present.
- Durability: Features a fire-resistant (FR) 2-inch belt (07-765-FR) and belt support (03-811) to ensure the unit stays secure and intact under harsh, high-heat industrial conditions.
- Ease of Use: Comes complete with a battery (03-855), battery charger (03-851), and a flow meter (03-819), providing everything needed for immediate deployment and continuous operation.
This system is essential for professionals in industries such as welding, metal fabrication, foundries, and chemical processing where respiratory protection is critical and fire-resistant, NIOSH-compliant equipment is required.
