Msa 10023859 Mm Papr Full Facepiece Respirator, Ultravue, Silicone, Size Medium

The OptimAir MM 2K Powered Air-Purifying Respirator (PAPR) is designed for abatement, nuclear, lead and other hazardous particulate environments. The PAPR filters particulates from ambient air and provides a constant flow of respirable air to the Advantage 3000 Facepiece. The maskmounted motor/blower with HEPA filter has a low profile design that enhances user maneuverability and simplifies decontamination.

The PAPR includes a small, lightweight, water-resistant nickel metal hydride (NiMH) battery pack that will operate for eight hours of continuous use. Weighing only 12.5 oz., it measures only 3″x 5″x 1″. The low-profile unit fits close to the wearers body. The sealed battery pack is water-resistant for easy shower decontamination. Another advantage: NiMH batteries do not have the “memory effect†associated with NiCad batteries. The standard Dual-Rate Battery Charger will recharge a fully discharged battery in less than three hours.

Assembly includes: motor/blower, NiMH battery, dual-rate battery charger, cable, one Type HE OptiFilter XL Cartridge, belt, and Ultravue Facepiece.
